This is like the second or third time this year that my wipers malfunctioned!
- During Chinese New Year, while driving off to Penang, the wipers stopped working! And no shops was opened and it was raining so heavily… and there was a massive jam getting out of KL.. havoc
- I went out for dinner with my former college mates and on the way back, it started raining so heavily and the wiper decided to go off the windshield and it got stuck at the side! It was 11.30pm and when i called my dad, he tells me ‘Who asked you to come home late? wait for the rain to lessen and then drive home’. Thats my dad. I drove back in the rain, my hand became a wiper. At nite on the Mrr2, whether rain or shine, ppl luv to speed.. so i was driving extra slowly and carefully, and praying so so hard to get home safely.
- Then another time, again it just got stuck.. cant recall much details. but thanks to this incident, dad got it repaired.
- Everything was working alrite in the last few months but i always had this fear that during a storm it will stop working again and true enough, it happened today. Thank god for my bf who was nearby to help me out coz dad gave a good suggestion ‘Park the car at the nearest petrol station and take taxi or train to come home or alternatively, you can wait for the rain to stop, and then slowly drive home’… thanks dad. This time i heard the wiper popped! Country man i asked for helped, ignored me but 2 kind indian guys helped me and they informed me that i cant switch my wipers as the nut was broken/cracked. Great eh?
So tomorrow before going to work, i will drop by the mechanic shop and tell him, change the whole entire damn thing or im looking for some1 new.. Do a proper job la,, i have been coming to you for years and you are my neighbour! but i am considering trying the mechanic shop thats near my office.. My senior sends her car there, and he does a good job and reasonable price too.. hmmm…
AND, i better save my foreman’s phone number in my phone in case of an emergency.. Felt so helpless today.. darn!
